What to Bring to Class
At least two masks ( surgical, procedural, non-medical ) You will be required to wear a mask at all times on the premises. Masks are available to purchase from an instructor for $2 each at the door. NOTE: We can only accept exact change.
Lunch, snacks, and water
Bring your own lunch, snacks and water for the day. Lunch is between 30 – 40 minutes and is not enough time to grab take-out. The kitchen is closed due to COVID-19, so onsite coffee, water, the microwave and fridge are NOT available.
Two pens
We recommend that you bring 2 pens to fill out forms and the written exam.
Smartphone or tablet
A hard copy textbook won’t be provided. If you plan to use an eBook for your course, remember to download it here.
Don’t forget your glasses! If you wear glasses, remember to bring them. The instructor’s demonstration will be at least 2 meters away.
Additional Information
What Not to Bring: Avoid bringing any food that may contain peanuts/nuts.
What to wear: Rooms are air-conditioned. Wear layered clothing and comfortable shoes you can move around in easily (low cut shirts, mini-skirts, high heels or open toed shoes NOT permitted). You will be working with a CPR mannequin on the floor.
What to avoid: perfume, strong scent, lipstick (it can get the mannequins messy)
Washroom: Only one person should use the washroom at the time to ensure social distancing. Others need to wait outside and keep two meters away from one another.
