This one-day Canadian Red Cross First Aid course is designed for day care and child care workers who care for infants or children in the workplace or at home. This course is highly recommended for parents, caregivers, childcare/daycare workers and students of early childhood education.
The course material covers First Aid and CPR skills essential for childhood injuries and emergencies. More specifically, students will learn lifesaving first aid skills and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR Level B and AED) for children, and babies.
This course meets legislative requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and day care worker safety requirements.
If you are a day care worker, it is highly recommended that you should consult with your employer before registration. Some day care/ child care centers in BC prefer Standard First Aid CPR/AED.
