Private Courses

We can offer all our courses at a location and time that’s convenient for you such as, in your home, office, workplace, or school. Private courses offer the benefit of a comfortable environment where you can enjoy the course with your family members, co-workers, or friends. Plus you don’t have to travel far to take the course.

Requirement:

a minimum of 6-8 students is required depending on the course to a maximum of 18 students. To register for private courses, please contact us.

Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED

This two-day Canadian Red Cross First Aid course covers material and skills essential to basic life saving such as CPR and cardiac arrest to severe medical conditions such as head and spine injuries. This course will provide you with practical life saving First Aid skills to meet work requirements and prepare you to manage and respond to various medical emergencies at home or in the work place. Our courses meet Canadian federal and BC provincial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR.
Course length: 16 hours
Certification: valid for 3 years (including CPR-C and AED)

  • The Emergency Medical Services System
  • Check, Call, Care -including shock & recovery position
  • Airway Emergencies -including Conscious & Unconscious choking

  • Respiratory and Cardiac Arrest-including CPR-C and AED
  • Wound Care – including various minor injuries, impaled object, amputation, penetrating chest injury & burns

Emergency First Aid & CPR-C/AED

This one day Canadian Red Cross First Aid course covers basic First Aid and CPR skills needed to recognize and respond to emergencies such as choking, heart attack, stroke and wounds. This course will provide you with an overview of First Aid & CPR for the home or workplace. If you want training to manage and respond to a wider variety of medical emergencies we recommend you consider taking our Standard First Aid & CPR-C/AED.

This one day Canadian Red Cross First Aid course is designed for people who care for infants or children in the workplace or at home. This course is highly recommended for parents, caregivers and students of early childhood education. The course material covers First Aid and CPR skills essential for childhood injuries and emergencies.

CPR/AED

The courses cover the skills needed to recognize and respond to choking and cardiovascular emergencies for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen which is based on your interests and needs. All include the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR training for Levels A, C or HCP depending on the skills needed. The course material covers CPR and AED training suitable for the workplace or general interest.

Babysitting

This course covers basic first aid and care giving skills for youth from 11 years old. Participants learn how to provide proper care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. This training helps youth to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents.

Workplace Emergency First Aid (OFA level 1)
